Bob Seger has racked up a lot of worthy tracks over the years, but it took until 1994 for a greatest hits package to be visible. Voilà. The bad news: We're missing an awful lot of songs here. Night Moves is Seger's crit-pick album, and a excellent situate to begin if you don't have any Seger at all. Next in the rankings is Stranger in Town. Otherwise, his highs are pretty scattered, which would do any excellent-of package a worthy investment. But if you would like to get comprehensive, "Rock & Roll Never Forgets," "Fire Down Below," "Horizontal Bop," "Her Strut," "Betty Lou's Getting Out Tonight," and "Katmandu" aren't on this CD--and you'll have to go to the original albums to secure them. --Gavin McNett

Great CD. Every song is excellent but for an artist like Bob Seger, who has so many big hits, they really should have made this a 2-CD set. Fortunately, there is a "Volume 2" now available. If you're just looking for one or two songs here, this is a good album with some extras you might not have thought of. If you're really a big fan though and don't already have this stuff, you're going to want to add Volume 2 to your order.

I am not going to review his CD's but I will say that they are all good. However, I am not fond of remastered anything and many of his are. I prefer the original recordings. Someone needs to make a Bob Seger Anthology so that we can get all our favorites on one CD. He is that well liked and people will purchase it. I rest my case. RC

Seeger is the Greatest and this is my favorite collection mix. Never saw him in concert though.

the cd has scratches on it and it doesn't play without jumping on some of the songs. disappointed in the quality.
